Conference Aims

Organise high-level meetings between government representatives, health leaders, and researchers; disseminate cutting-edge scientific findings in public health, neuroscience, and psychiatry; fortify the global health system and mental health infrastructure; and place a priority on care that is inclusive, equitable, and culturally sensitive. Encourage integrated plans to ensure universal health coverage (UHC) includes mental health.

All eligible sessions at the Mental Health World Conference (MHWC 2026) are accredited for Continuing Professional Development (CPD). Certificates will be issued to participants upon completion of the required attendance and evaluation.

Abstract Submission Process

Abstract Submissions Are Now Being Accepted. Researchers, clinicians, community leaders, and mental health advocates are invited to submit abstracts for oral or poster presentations at MHWC 2026.

Review Process: Double-blind peer review
Event Type: Hybrid (virtual and limited in-person sessions)
Abstract Length: Maximum 300 words (excluding references)
Tracks: Must align with one of the 12 conference sessions or themes
